What should I do if the injection

2022-11-30

Flap, also known as flash, overflow, flash, etc., mostly occurs at the opening and closing positions of the mold, such as the parting surface of the mold, the sliding part of the slider, the gap of the insert, the hole of the ejector, etc. . If the flash is not resolved in time, it will be further enlarged, resulting in a partial collapse of the imprinting mold, causing permanent damage. The front of the insert gap and the ejector pin pores will also cause the product to get stuck on the mold and affect demolding.

Phi front is essentially the extra material left on the product after the plastic material enters the gap of the matching part of the mold and is cooled. To solve the problem of the front is very simple, that is to control not to let the melt enter the mold fit gap. The plastic melt enters into the mold fit gap. Generally, there are two situations: one is that the mold fit gap is inherently large, and the colloid can easily enter it; the other is that the mold fit gap is not large, but because The molten colloid was forced in under pressure.

On the surface, it seems that Phifeng can be completely solved by enhancing the manufacturing precision and strength of the mold. It is absolutely necessary to improve the manufacturing precision of the mold, reduce the matching gap of the mold, and prevent the molten colloid from entering. However, the strength of the mold, in many cases, cannot be strengthened indefinitely. Under any pressure, the gel cannot penetrate into it.

The production of Phifeng has both mold and process reasons. Check the reasons for the process, first check whether the clamping force is sufficient, and only check the reasons for the mold when it is ensured that the clamping force is sufficient and the front is still generated.
